Christmas and updates

My little apartment has been decorated for Christmas. Although I am not home much and I won't be home for Christmas, I still like to decorate. I have a little tree and stockings for myself and my dog.

I've also been doing some stitching and beading. While the beading has been going slow as I am new to it and I loathe doing any type of embellishment on cross stitches, I've been trying to do a little bit each weekend. I find that I need a lot of light and so the middle of the day on Saturdays and Sundays are best.

I've also been working on the stamped cross stitch quilt for my friend's oldest daughter. It's coming along. While it's not going quite as fast as I would like so I can finish it and pick up some other projects, it's coming along quite nicely!

Nice work the beading will come along. I know I am also working on angel of healing and it has a ton of beads. When I get tired of the beads I pick up something else to do. The quilt is looking good as well. I use to do lots of stamped cross stitch. But I can't really get into it anymore.

Your tree is really cute. Nice progress on your WIP's. The more beading you do the easier it will get.

Pretty tree! I'm not much of a beader either! LOL I leave it till the bitter end and then it still might not get done. Hence, UFOs! LOL

your decorations look nice! I always get in the mood for Christmas if I can see the decorations, even if not home much! Your stitching looks great. I love to bead, hope you have a tacky bob, it makes it much easier!

Poppy is looking great! I hate beading too-it can be a real bear. Your baby quilt is progressing nicely!
